strange sleep habits

I'm sure all babies/children are like this, but Jacob sure "gets around" in his bed! At any time of the night he can be on one end or the other, and in any of the four corners. He also breathes very loudly and sometimes mumbles in his sleep. He also insists on sleeping with 3 stuffed animals: elephant, pig & bear; and his blanket ("ghee bee"); and his quilt. He has to be covered up at night before he falls asleep and unfortunately, hasn't figured out how to move the covers with him when he moves. So, when he shifts and moves out from under the quilt, he shouts from his room, "Mommy!! Covers!!!" And I have to go cover him up again.

Many times when I go in to cover him up again, he'll give me a groggy re-cap of his day or evening. One night when we had burritos for dinner he said, "I eat burrito, salsa, chips, dip." This past weekend when we visited my parents he said, "I hug Zoey. I water plants." Of course I have to validate what he says or he'll repeat it over & over which would wake him up!

Last night Jason found him like this. These are his current favorite pajamas too. About 3 times a week he'll ask, "Monster jammas dirty?" The answer is usually yes, except for after laundry day. At least he was comfy ....
