Learning to Ride a Bike

Jacob received this tricycle for his 1st birthday and has enjoyed it for a while now. But getting HIM to operate it ... well that's been a challenge. The tricycle is great for us because it has a long handle on the back that allows us to help manuvere him without throwing out our backs. But, Jacob has figured out that he can just kick back while we do all of the work!

It is my new personal quest to get him to pedal his OWN BIKE! He picked out this fine Thomas the Tank Engine helmet. Spiffy ...

Oh, oh ... feet on the pedals! YES!!!

D'oh! That didn't last long. Well ... we're working on it ..... At least he enjoys trying!
