I love to cook!

First of all, my photos are still uploading small. The editor is working on that. Second, my little guy LOVES to help out in the kitchen. Mommy doesn't necessarily love having him help out, but she realizes it's a learning process. Jacob is messy, doesn't really listen, stabs more than spread or stirs, but he still enjoys it. If I'm making something that he can help with - like here - I'll let him help. If I'm making something on the stove, he gets out his own pot & spatula and gets to stirring (banging) on the floor.

Here's Jacob spreading the cream cheese filling on our Cinnamon Sugar Cheesecake Bars. He stabbed the crust a bit, but they still turned out great.


You probably can't tell from this microscopic picture, but he's spreading the filling out here too.
